The George Hotel - Montrose

Could be great for holiday. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious with plenty of items to choose from. The service was all in all good. The location was incredible, a 10-15 minute walk from Montrose Museum.

We visited a fine beach and explored a cool local museum. The place had friendly staff and spacious rooms. Great meals at affordable prices. Just a heads up, breakfast was fantastic and you'll definitely want to dive into the huge burgers for lunch!

The george is a lovely older hotel just off the main drag. My single room was plain yet well-appointed and very clean. The breakfast was cooked to order, such a nice surprise! It's close to everything you need.
